Retrospective — 2015

In 2015 we went to Leutzsch. We started in the heart of the city quarter at the town hall surrounded by green trees of the park. Our screen is the firewall of an old house. It's quiet. It flickers. All eyes eagerly follow the first frames. It's getting dark. The path leads through the park, which is already dipped in deep dark blue. There are candles on the side of the road. A bit creepy. We arrive at an old industrial site and walk around on sandhills together and look ahead to a factory wall. It goes on. The caravan strolls through narrow streets of small settlements. Beautiful houses. Small front porches. Pretty here. It becomes cold and damp and the air smells of wood. We find ourselves in the nearby forest. Trails. Scrub. Cobwebs. A clearing. A canvas. The river rushes in the background. The trees at the edge of the forest collect the light which the canvas can not grasp. A final stage remains. Gloomily an old weir raises the river. The forest devours the dark group again. She collects herself at the old guard. The last minutes. Farewell.
